The Salisbury School, a prestigious private boarding school in northwestern Connecticut, is looking for an experienced Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team and share their passion for excellent food and service in its high volume production kitchen. Shifts will vary based on business needs. 5 days a week, one weekend day necessary.
Candidates must possess relevant experience in a busy upscale cafeteria type setting. Duties also include the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, maintenance of the storage areas, and assisting the management with ordering.
Reliability, creativity, motivation and initiative are required.
Full Time. 40 hours per week, excellent benefits, paid time off.
Position follows school year calendar September through June. Work may be available during the summer if desired.
