About Foxfire Mountain House

Established in 2016 by co-founders Eliza Clark and Tim Trojian, Foxfire Mountain House is celebrating its 9th year in operation. Restaurant Manager Responsibilities Include:

- Work under the direction of the General Manager to maintain an exciting dining experience for all guests at Lost Fox Inn

- Oversee the daily operations of the Lost Fox Tavern, ensuring high standards of presentation, ambiance, hospitality, and cleanliness

- Hire, train, and manage FOH & BOH team members with assistance from General Manager & Head Chef

- Ability to cover any FOH position as needed including host/front door, expeditor, runner, server and/or bartender. Must be comfortable working behind an upscale bar

- Monitor inventory levels weekly and communicate supply needs for replenishment

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency

- Handle customer inquiries and feedback in a professional and courteous manner

- Collaborate with BOH to ensure menu consistency and prompt service

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

- Prep for restaurant service and events including stocking bars, batching cocktails, making syrups and prepping garnishes

- Update and print dining and beverage menus

- Manage end of night cleaning and resetting of the restaurant

We're Looking For a Candidate Who Has:

- A 10/10 personality and deep love of hospitality

- Minimum 3 years restaurant management experience

- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine & spirits

- Extensive previous bartending and service experience

- An insatiable appetite to stay current on industry changes and trends to ensure our dining and beverage program is compelling and thought provoking

- The ability to work within and inspire a talented and capable team

- A need to work in a fast-paced environment that will pivot between restaurant service and on-site events including weddings and private dinners

- Passion for detail, consistency, and timing

- A desire to learn, grow and evolve as a hospitality professional

- The ability to communicate clearly, positively and proactively with all departments to ensure a great staff/guest experience

- Experience working with Google Suite, RESY & Toast POS.

- Ability to accurately inventory beer, wine and spirits for ordering purposes preferred but not required.

Weekly Schedule (Approximate):

- Thursday 10:00am-4:00pm (Currently restaurant prep and team meetings)

- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

- Saturday 2:00pm-10:30pm

- Sunday 1:00pm-9:30pm

- Monday 1:00pm-9:30pm

Reports To:

- General Manager

Compensation & Benefits:

- $65k Annual Salary
