AECOM is actively seeking a Transportation Planner for employment in Rocky Hill, CT.
The responsibilities will include:Review and prepare documents, reports, presentations, technical memoranda, and other work products with a focus on regulatory compliance, technical adequacy, and impact assessment.Review design plans for potential environmental impacts.Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.Perform site reviews for natural and water resources. Perform site inspections on active construction projects for environmental compliance with existing permits and regulatory programs.Reviewing and preparing planning/engineering studies/reports/permit applications with a focus on regulatory compliance and technical adequacy with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Connecticut Environmental Policy Act (CEPA), natural and water resource evaluations, and contaminated and hazardous materials management.
