The Production/Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for providing front-line broadcast engineering and technical support across multiple studios and control rooms within the Stamford Sports facility. The role involves supporting all broadcast systems and technology for live day-of-air programs, troubleshooting hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies, and managing projects that include system design, integration, and commissioning. This position requires a combination of maintenance and project management/system engineering skills. The support needs span seven days a week, with certain periods requiring availability as part of a 24x7 schedule.Responsibilities:Perform system-level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and associated computer systems.Conduct preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment.Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios.Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions that meet production initiatives.Install and update equipment and systems software.Repair and troubleshoot equipment to the module level using industry-standard test equipment.Manage projects, design systems, and assist with system integration and commissioning.Basic Requirements:2+ years of experience in a television broadcast environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.BS degree in Engineering, Communications, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
