Description We are offering an exciting long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative - Transportation Clerk in Delaware, OH with a well-known logistics company. Our client's team seeks an individual who can handle various office and administrative duties, with a focus on transportation services. This role involves interaction with drivers, auditing tasks, and maintenance of logs and reports.Responsibilities: Manage various office functions such as maintaining databases, reporting, and handling accounts payable/receivable and collections. Ensure the accuracy of customer service interactions and the resolution of driver equipment requests and pallet tracking. Conduct audits of logs and trip reports, along with other DOT reporting requirements. Maintain and distribute route books on a daily/weekly basis, assisting with driver coverage of vacation and overflow freight. Handle payroll functions and billing processes. Maintain accurate records of driver logs and trip reports, along with DOT requirements tracking. Responsible for fuel reconciliation and office supplies management. Maintain the pallet tracking system, ensuring its accuracy and efficiency.Requirements Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with Office Functions, including efficient handling of office equipment and administrative tasks Experience in Reporting, capable of creating and presenting detailed reports Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), able to manage and process invoices and payments Understanding of Payroll, with the ability to process employee salaries accurately and timely Proficiency in using Database systems, demonstrating good data entry and management skills Experience in Audit, with the ability to conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions Expertise in Reconciliations, capable of reconciling financial discrepancies efficiently Experience in Billing, able to create and send out invoices, track payments and update records Understanding of Collection Processes, with the ability to manage overdue accounts Familiarity with Payroll Functions, including managing employee benefits, deductions, and tax computations Ability to Maintain Logs, accurately recording and storing vital information Knowledge of Transportation Services, with the ability to coordinate and manage schedules and routes Experience in handling Pallet, including loading and unloading goods, and ensuring their safe transportation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
