We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our apartment community. Our maintenance technicians are responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the property, including timely completion of all apartment make ready work, repairs and service requests. Maintenance Technicians must have the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; superior customer service skills; and a great attention to detail.
Candidate must be responsible, reliable, hands on and committed. This position reports to the Property Manager of the complex. The ideal candidate will have great plumbing and electrical skills, ability to troubleshoot daily issues accurately. HVAC experience, good painting and sanding skills, and attention to detail.
Candidate should posses experience with plumbing and drain issues.
Candidate should posses experience with electrical issues.
Candidate should possess strong skills in preparing walls for paint, including spackling, sanding, and painting with an agreed upon date of completion.
Ensure that work order requests are responded to and resolved in an efficient and prompt manner.
Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to minimize liability concerns and ensure excellent curb appeal at all times.
Repairing move out and turnover repairs in the apartments.
Perform routine preventive maintenance.
Candidate must possess a high standard of work quality.
Must be committed to maintaining a high level of customer service.
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Work as part of a team.
