Location: Milton, DE Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Systems Lead in Milton, DE.
Will help pay for a relo The Brewery Systems Lead is responsible for supporting, coordinating and delegating (when appropriate) all facets of the Level 2 (SCADA & HMI), Level 3 (MES/MOM) and Manufacturing Reporting systems and infrastructure at assigned breweries. This position will report to the Sr. Brewery Systems Manager and will be required to operate with little supervision. They will have the autonomy to oversee the day-to-day functions of the technology areas noted above. The Brewery System Lead will work closely with other elements of the IT department, and the Engineering and Operations groups at the breweries to drive standards as well as identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that leverage chosen automation and reporting technologies to meet the needs of the business. What You'll Do:Work with little direct supervisionAbility to exert influence and create positive change as an independent operatorDelegate duties and tasks when appropriateOversee day to day support of the process control networks at assigned breweriesOversee day to day support of Brewery Systems infrastructure (Virtualization, Hardware, & Software) for automation systems (level 2), MES/MOM systems (level 3) and Manufacturing Reporting systemsLead the development & maintenance of standards related to automation system development, documentation and integration in line with the Brewery Systems management directivesLead the development & implementation of strategies for upgrade, expansion, continuous improvement, life cycle, and preventive maintenance of the brewery systems at assigned breweriesLead the development and integration of automation systems in our Wonderware and or Proleit/ BrewMaxx environmentsManage change control processesImplement and enforce security standards and controls: (Access, Virus Protection, etc)Participate as team member on all automation projects to provide guidance and insightProvide support for process networks and automation systemsAct as primary contact with integrators and automation system vendorsAct as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for our process network configuration and applications such as WonderwareReview completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standardsMonitor other team members to provide necessary advice and guidancePerform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategiesCoach team members and motivate them to produce desired resultsOrganize trainings to teach team members new techniques and methodsKeep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industryPerform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify themWork alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visionsEnsure that the company's data and information are protected from unauthorized accessAttend meetings, trainings or seminarsWhat We're Looking For:10+ years automation systems experience3+ years data networking and / or computer systems experienceExtensive demonstrated experience and ability with:Wonderware automation products such as InTouch, ArchestrA, Historian and MESOther HMI and SCADA systems (Citect, Ignition, etc)Experience with Proleit/BrewmaxxExperience with KronesComprehensive knowledge and understanding of data networks, especially those in a plant automation settingExperience with MES/MOM SystemsExperience with interfacing with PLCsAbility to interact and work with all levels within the organizationStrong troubleshooting skills - applicant must be able to determine the causes of complex problems and recommend practical and effective solutionsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with Citect/Ignition HMI/SCADA a plusExperience with development languages and tools a plusExperience with SQLServer Databases a plusBenefits:See company record for Benefit's documentContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
