AECOM is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in our Newark, DE office for a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the Delaware-Maryland-Pennsylvania area. Typical assignments may include water and wastewater projects, erosion and sediment control inspection, stormwater facilities inspection, and other projects throughout the tri-state area.Typical responsibilities will include but not limited to:Prepare preconstruction meeting agendas, conduct the meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutesPrepare monthly progress meeting agendas, conduct the meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutesReview submittals, requests for information, and change order proposals from the contractor, coordinate with the design engineer and AECOM client to provide review comments to the contractor, and maintain a record of all such communications, review comments, and approvalsReview pay requests submitted by the contractor and make recommendations to the AECOM clientOversee the work of the AECOM construction inspectors at the site and provide senior field support during the course of the workOversee the work of subcontractors and subcontractor compliance with contract and project requirementsMonitor project schedule and budget performance, identify variances, and communicate status updates to project stakeholders and AECOM managementConduct quality assurance inspections to ensure work conforms to contract specifications, plans, and applicable codes and regulationsIdentify, document, and coordinate resolution of field issues, conflicts, and non-conformances with the contractor and design teamMaintain comprehensive project documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, correspondence, and photographic recordsCoordinate site logistics, safety compliance, and environmental requirements to ensure adherence to project protocols and regulatory standardsOccasional outdoor work in a variety of seasonal weather conditions
