Regulatory Transformation Project Manager - Vice President:
  • Regulatory Transformation is a change management team, focusing on defining strategy, solutions and plans to manage large-scale regulatory initiatives impacting Global Private Bank business.
  • The team frequently supports largescale, cross-LOB programs that often have regulatory and business driven components.
  • As a result, focus is geared toward business process improvement, growth, expansion, and enhanced controls while satisfying current, new, and/or changing regulatory obligations.
  • The team works cross-functionally with impacted groups, these often include but are not limited to: front office advisors, product specialists, legal, risk management, compliance, operations, technology, trade desks, marketing teams, and cross-functional senior leadership across AWM.

The team:
  • Supports the translation of the client experience strategy into tangible solutions
  • Defines detailed processes, organizational structure and relevant roles and responsibilities required to implement changes
  • Manages the transition from current to future state and transition to BAU
  • Establishes processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Responsibilities
  • The team creates tangible value for clients and advisors through the implementation critical regulatory-driven business initiatives.
  • These can span sales and service innovation, digital capabilities, changing regulatory needs, and controls-related enhancements.
  • The team is expected to provide broad insights and thought leadership for these high visibility projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivery of major regulatory change-driven initiatives in partnership with the Front Office, Product, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology and other functions as needed
  • Lead highly skilled teams through project lifecycles, leveraging approaches in process re-engineering, organizational design, program and change management
  • Design and implementation of full operating models (e.g., organizational structures, governance, processes, controls, and technology tools)
  • Identification of challenges, gaps and opportunities for improvement (and report findings in a simple, compelling way)
  • Coordination with related in-flight programs
  • Management and development of junior team members

Qualifications:
  • Members of the team possess strengths in project management, problem resolution, effective communication, product knowledge, and marketing.
  • The position requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt within a dynamic environment.

Must be an energetic self-starter and exhibit the ability to:
  • With the support from requisite stakeholders and subject matter experts, lead efforts to convert problem statements and regulatory changes into a actionable next steps according to a given strategic plan.
  • Demonstrate understanding of client and advisor wealth management processes (front and back office)
  • Feel comfortable owning end-to-end implementations including project inception, though assessment, planning, project management, execution and evaluation
  • Partnering in documenting current state operating models and designing end-to-end target state operating models
  • Successful Project Managers on this team are often competent in the following skills, among others:
  • Analyzing and prioritizing alternative solutions to drive results
  • Influencing a cross functional, diverse environment to change status quo
  • Working autonomously and demonstrated self?motivation
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations for senior leadership

Experience:
  • MBA (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
  • 6 plus years of experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, project management, process improvement or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading large scale project execution and management
  • Financial services/business consultancy background, preferably in Wealth Management.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end bank infrastructure, including advisors, client service, product, technology, operations, and controls.
  • Experience in or desire to learn new tools and technology (Signavio, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, AI/ML)
