This position is 100% remote for the next 12 months.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and deploying Active Directory in a large enterprise. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as, excels among peers in a team environment.

10+ years designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise Active Directory environment of 10,000+ users.

Creating and implementing the domain level security policies such as authentication mechanisms, password policies and rules, IPSEC policies etc., reviewing domain level rights and privileges and performs changes to the same as appropriate, and maintenance in critical enterprise-class servers.

Solid understanding of Active Directory architecture and system integration problems.

Strong understanding of Active Directory ACLs.

5+ years' experience with Group Policy Administration

Knowledgeable and experienced with a wide range of Active Directory technologies, components, and related infrastructure, to include by not limited to, AAD Connect, ADFS, WINS, DFS, LDAP, Kerberos, etc.

Experienced with multifactor authentication technology.

Experience with Office 365 and RADIUS.

Experience with non-Microsoft LDAPs such as NetIQ eDirectory, Open LDAP, and OID

Experience with Server 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, and related AD components.

Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge.

Provide guidance regarding changes to the AD schema.

Manage and maintain standardized Organizational Units (OU) in AD.

Manage and maintain AD custom attributes and security groups.

Manage AD sites and subnets, including site replication.

Manage the AD database, System Volume (SYSVOL).

Manage Group Policy and provide server administration.

Install new software releases: upgrade systems, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems.

Maintain OS, DS and hardware version control and systems security management for all enterprise Windows servers.

Participate in network infrastructure analysis.

Perform tasks during maintenance window.

Coordinate hardware delivery, pre-implementation configurations, and device refresh/upgrade.

Conduct post installation testing and maintain efficient functional network.

Assist IT teams to plan, implement and deploy OS software server rollouts.

Produce system documentation and provide status reports related to detailed project plans.

Perform system backups and recovery, maintain data files, and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.

Perform other duties as needed or required.

Required Qualifications

BA or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Management, or some other closely related academic field.

5+ years' experience with configuring and managing Active Directory and Group Policy Objects, including design, configuration, and deployment, as well as an in-depth experience with domains, forests, technologies with proficiency.

Proficient with Azure Active Directory.

5+ years' experience supporting authentication protocols (Kerberos, SAML, OAUTH, LDAP, etc.).

Public Trust Clearance (or ability to attain it).

Knowledge of HSPD-12/PIV/CAC, FIPS 201, FICAM, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, NSTIC and other federal ICAM-related directives, standards, and mandates.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

Linux/Unix server administration experience.

Experience implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Active Directory.

Competencies required include communication proficiency, presentation skills, technical capacity, organizational skills, customer/client focus, decision making, discretion & ethical conduct.
