Meet The Press NOW is looking for an experienced Associate Producer who has a strong interest in political reporting and election coverage and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.   Get in touch if you love to edit video, write, work with graphics and want to be part of a great team.This position is represented by the NewsGuild-CWA.Responsibilities:Editing video and producing graphic elements for the live show on tight deadlinesEditing in Adobe Premiere and AVIDWorking closely with EP, senior producers, line producer, segment producers, booking producers, production assistants and hostsPitching relevant and compelling live and taped segment ideasCompiling research for day-of news and long-term projectsWriting scripts in iNews as neededWorking closely with the Meet the Press digital team to publish and distribute video on social media and owned-platformsStaying up on the news and jumping in as duty calls
