If creating memories and being part of an exceptional guest experience appeals to you, perhaps you would be interested in joining the outstanding team of hospitality professionals at the Fairmont Washington, D.C.Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Server is responsible for offering individual warm and welcoming service by paying attention to the guests needs and looking for every opportunity to Wow and delight the guest with your knowledge and service levels.  Serves meals for banquet functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayServe all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetingsHave full knowledge of beverage lists and all menu items being served Follow outlet policies and proceduresFollow established service guidelines and practices for each individual event.Demonstrate the expected standards of table service and wine/ beverage knowledge.Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Clears and resets tables at conclusion of each course with the needed Mise en place.Maintain a positive service attitude at all times and be willing to help and advise guests with all questions and requests they may haveAvailable to work varied shifts based on business demands, including but not limited to, weekends and holidaysComplete other duties as assignedWhat's in it for you?Competitive SalaryOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities Rate of Pay: $10.00 per hour plus tips
