Reports to: Associate Director, Health Systems Strengthening and Integration

Salary Range: $70,000– $78,000 and commensurate with experience 

Location: Washington, D.C. or Remote 

FLSA Status: Exempt

Work Requirements: This position offers flexibility for in-person, remote, or hybrid work arrangements in Washington, D.C., while adhering to Eastern Time (ET) hours. Occasional travel may be necessary as needed. Position Summary This role will have the exciting opportunity to help NASTAD achieve its vision of a world committed to ending HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, and intersecting epidemics by strengthening and integrating public health and healthcare systems. The Manager will work closely with NASTAD members, governmental health departments, and health systems across the country to align HIV care and treatment, HIV surveillance, and other support systems – such as AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) and Medicaid. This role will plan and execute technical assistance, generate data-driven insights, and create custom solutions that improve interoperability, program performance, and outcomes for health departments and people living with and affected by HIV.Essential DutiesAssess state health department needs on HIV/AIDS care and treatment programming issues with a specific focus on state ADAPs and other Payors such as Medicaid. Lead our technical assistance (TA) response to those needs.Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis related to HIV and viral hepatitis care and treatment programs and develop recommendations to guide TA activities.Collaboratively develop, design, and deliver tools, resources, training, and consultation in response to requests from governmental HIV programs and their state Medicaid partners related to improving data coordination activities.Represent NASTAD and its positions at meetings, briefings, and consultations related to state health department HIV care programs.Provide timely response to and interaction with NASTAD’s members through responsive and innovative messaging, mentoring, networking and technical assistance activities.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
