Summary: This role is pivotal to measuring, testing and managing the lifecycle risk pertaining to privacy at meta. Within our Global Security & Privacy organization, the Privacy risk team focuses on developing, maintaining and managing risk operations. We are seeking a motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented candidate with deep knowledge of risk management, testing, and/or Meta Privacy functions. You will drive strong cross-functional engagement, monitor emerging regulatory policies, and communicate progress updates within the program to key stakeholders. In this role, you will need to work well in high-pressure situations, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to pivot quickly and effectively when necessary. The ideal candidate is an experienced privacy, trust & safety professional who can translate work across risk and compliance teams seamlessly and act as the human API between Governance Risk and Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Offices, and the business, maintaining deep Privacy subject matter expertise.You will partner with Meta’s business and product teams across the company to develop deep insights and drive improvements into the mechanics of how teams incorporate compliance and privacy-by-design into operations and product life cycles.Required Skills: Privacy Risk Manager Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and second line of defense oversight to establish, measure and improve privacy practices including reviewing controls and monitors

Work with first line of defense teams on risk identification, testing strategies and remediation mechanisms

Ensures accuracy and timely completion of required information for privacy workstreams

Become a trusted partner working cross-functionally with engineer, product and business teams building a deep understanding of how their teams work, their needs and how privacy risk and compliance can be operationalized into their processes

Develop and implement strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with privacy program objectives

Address stakeholder issues, while minimizing friction and maximizing productivity and impact

Partner with privacy workstreams to mature the privacy posture of the company

Support regulatory compliance efforts including controls testing, certifications, risk assessments, oversight and governance, external assessor coordination, control design, continuous monitoring, issue management and remediation

Build and drive greater consistency of process, practices and execution across privacy workstreams

Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity while building operational cadences across technical and operational teams to coordinate work

Set priorities, multi-task and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, audit, business operations, regulatory operations, or other operational discipline

2+ years of experience working in a regulatory domain like privacy, integrity, security OR in a role associated with data protection, regulatory response, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, or other highly regulated environment

Proven project management, problem solving, time-management and organizational skills, and the experience to set strategic priorities combined with a demonstrated history of delivering operational results

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of work experience in consulting, business operations, program management or other operational disciplines

3+ years of experience working within a technical product environment and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, policy and engineers

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience

Demonstrated knowledge of a domain’s requirements (e.g. Privacy - Governance, Risk & Compliance concepts), preferable those applicable to a global tech company, and experience evaluating products or processes to ensure compliance with applicable requirements

2+ years privacy organization experience
