Job DescriptionThe candidate will participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as on a team with customers, stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements, develop new functionality for COTS and GOTS applications, perform maintenance and provide customer support. Experience with Java, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery and customer support experience is strongly desired.Hybrid: This is a hybrid position that requires in the office a minimum of three days per week. Tuesday and Wednesday collaboration days are uniform across the business and the third day is flexible as discussed with your manager.As a Senior Software Programmer you will:

Work independently, as well as on a team with customers and stakeholders

to elicit and analyze requirements,

develop new functionality for COTS and GOTS applications,

perform maintenance,

and provide customer support.

Use your Java, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, and JQuery skills in support of the customer s mission

Required Education, Experience, & SkillsRequired Education, Experience & Skills:

An active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance

An IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570

Or, have a SECNAV 5239 qualifying degree AND meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 within 6 months of start date.

Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC), badge access to the customer s facility, and a SSP network account in good standing.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree and at least 6 years of experience building web applications using Java, C# and ASP.NET, OR 10 years of experience building web applications using Java, C# and ASP.NET

Ability to adapt and respond to different types of situations

Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Experience working with customers, stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements

Experience programming in Java, C#, ASP.NET

Experience working with SQL and Relational Databases

Must be able to configure COTS Tools using SQL, jQuery and JavaScript

Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle

Experience with secure coding standards

Experience with source code control systems, such as SVN, Git

Technical knowledge and proficiency

Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of

Hibernate

Apache Struts

Apache Tomcat

Eclipse IDE

Visual Studio

Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsCommunication

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Good writing skills to document procedures, create reports, and reply to correspondence; ability to prepare and present cogent briefings.

Excellent interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with colleagues, auditors, customers and vendors.

Professionalism

Self-motivation and ability to work independently.

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and make sound decisions while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Good planning, time management and organization skills.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
