Description A Robert Half client is searching for a Social Media Specialist in the Washington, DC area! As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the client's social media strategy across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, analyze social media performance, and grow their audience. If you’re passionate about social media, trends, and data-driven strategies, we’d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth

Create, curate, and manage high-quality content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as relevant

Engage with audience, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner

Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply knowledge to new campaigns

Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to align social media content with ongoing campaigns and brand messaging

Use social media management and analytics tools to track and report on the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed

Stay informed on social media best practices and emerging trends, experimenting with new formats to increase engagement

Requirements

Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)

Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) and experience analyzing data to inform decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building

Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
