Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Procurement Consultant in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be integral to our procurement processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing for audits, and managing purchase orders. Responsibilities: Develop and draft solicitations for the procurement of services Handle the processing of purchase orders efficiently Oversee compliance with labor standards, affirmative action, and equal opportunity regulations Assist in the preparation for compliance audits Monitor and manage existing procurement projects Maintain accurate documentation related to procurement processes Use your customer service skills to address and resolve inquiries Implement buying processes for optimal efficiencyRequirements Possess expertise in Buying Processes, having a clear understanding of different purchasing strategies and cost analysis. Demonstrate proficiency in Compliance, ensuring all procurement activities adhere to relevant rules and regulations. Excellent Customer Service skills, able to maintain relationships with vendors and manage their service delivery. Ability to handle Documentation tasks, maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities. In-depth knowledge of Procurement, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management. Experience with Purchase Orders, managing the entire process from creation to closure. Knowledge of Audit Compliance, ensuring procurement activities meet all internal and external audit requirements. Familiarity with Labor Law, ensuring all procurement activities are conducted in a legally compliant manner.
