A globally recognized content and media company is building out a remote AI and Data Software Development team. This team is designing and developing their next-generation digital ad platform for reader experience. As a Senior Engineer on the team you will be building systems capable of powering the digital ad experience for some of the highest scale websites in the world. This position is a 6 month contract to hire role with the opportunity to work 100% remotely Responsibilities
- Full life cycle software development on their new digital ad platform
- Develop high quality code capable of processing millions of requests per minute
- Developed automated unit and integration tests
- Architect, build and deploy applications on AWS
- 3+ years of experience building customer-facing applications from the ground up
- Experience developing client-side JavaScript libraries (Node.js)
- Strong React experience.
- Experience building secure GraphQL or REST APIs
- Strong understanding of browsers and the HTTP protocol
- Desire to work in an agile environment with daily releases
- Experience with Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Experience with automated tests and continuous deployment
- Experience with AWS
