We are a young and growing accounting firm based in northern Virginia looking for an experienced accountant to join our team. Our services include outsourced accounting, individual and business tax preparation, and financial statement services.
Responsibilities:
Monthly outsourced accounting engagements:
o Bank reconciliations
o Record and categorize transactions
o Project level accounting
o Balance Sheet reconciliations
o Payroll processing
o Labor distribution
o AP/AR
o Monthly reporting
Prepare individual and business tax returns
Participate in audit, review and compilation engagements and financial statement preparation
Desired Requirements/Skills:
Multitasking - managing multiple clients
Accounting Degree - Bachelors
Public accounting experience
GAAP knowledge
CPA is a plus
Government contract accounting experience
Software's: QuickBooks Online, Unanet, Microsoft Navision, Drake Tax, Microsoft suite, Adobe PDF
