We are seeking a Hospitality Operations Manager in Arlington, VA.

Language Requirement:

English Fluency + fluency in one other language preferred (Mandarin, Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, French preferred)

What You'll Do:

Big Picture Responsibilities

- Manage and improve operational practices and procedures - actively seek areas for improvement

- Act as the buffer between the management team & reservationists (all remote) and Arlington-based employees

- Track and forecast operational trends and analysis

- Provide daily operations oversight for Arlington

Day To Day Responsibilities

- Perform and oversee all Arlington housekeeping and maintenance tasks

- Optimize and manage all scheduling and payroll for Arlington personnel

- Reporting and tracking via spreadsheets

- Hire, motivate, coach, and discipline personnel

- Stay on top of all operational issues (damages, internal maintenance and upgrades, equipment replacement)

- Maintain key control system for various properties

- Coordinate consistent property inspections

- Monitor all V.I.P.’s, special clients, and requests

- Assist in onboarding new properties

- Coordinate between multiple teams - housekeeping and maintenance on the ground, as well as remote management and reservationists

- Be the eyes and ears of management on the ground and keep an open line of communication

- Handle relationships with existing buildings and act as a go to person for emergencies

Requirements

- Must have at least four years of hospitality, housekeeping and/or house manager experience

- Must be able to wear multiple hats and work in a small team environment

- Ability to adapt in a rapid growth environment

- Must be tech savvy - using Slack, Google Suite, Excel, etc. and/or learning new programs/apps shouldn't be a problem for you

- Must have at least a bachelor's degree

- Should not have a clock-in clock-out mentality

- Have a passion to make other people happy

- Must have a reliable transportation vehicle (car, motorcycle etc) and valid driver's license to travel between properties when needed

- Sense of humor
