Part-time General Dentist

Compensation: $700 per day guaranteed based on 8 hours work day or 35% of collection, whichever is higher. Dentist pays 35% of lab fees.

Employment type: Part-time

We are a productive modern small dental practice in Alexandra, VA looking for a dynamic part-time general dentist to work every Friday and possibly an extra day on Tuesday or Wednesday (to be discussed). We have 3 ops chairs, digital X-rays, Dentrix software. The owner works 4 days. The office average daily production is $5k to $6k per day. We are 60% fee for service/PPO insurances and 40% Medicaid insurance.

Our office is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients and their families. We are looking for someone who is professional yet personable with great communication skills.

Full Job Description:

Preventive, restorative, endo., perio., implant, and surgical procedures.

Determine patient needs, documented findings, and provided education on procedures and prevention.

Leverage solid judgment to deliver accurate, knowledgeable, and appropriate care.

Assess treatment options and provide treatment plans to patients.

Develop a positive atmosphere that helped patients feel comfortable.

Successfully worked independently to improve patient outcomes.

Easily handles treating multiple patients per hour, running multiple operatories, and utilizes time efficiently.

Motivate to succeed and exceed expectations.

Coordinate treatment directly with specialists gaining valuable knowledge and perspective inpatient care.

Provide education to patients to include oral hygiene instruction, pre and post-op care for certain procedures and proper dental appliance maintenance.

Provide comprehensive general dental care.

Participate in clinic administrative activities.

Diagnose and treat patients according to oral health care.

Perform preventive, restorative, cosmetic dentistry, and simple oral surgery.
