URGENTLY HIRING
We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in Sterling, VA assists developmental disability individuals with daily living activities in the home. Their duties may include assisting individuals in the acquisition, retention, and improvement of skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal grooming, household chores, eating and food preparation, doing laundry, making beds, and other social adaptive skills necessary to enable the person to reside in the community.
Day, Night and Weekday and Weekend shifts
Multiple shifts are available.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Valid driver license and clean driving record.
CPR & First Aid, MEDTECH and TOVA.
Willing to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders.
Behavior Management
Individuals will trained to perform the job duties.
One should have the
-implement and follow the policies and procedures of the department, facility or service entity.
-to engage in the care, training and rehabilitation of physically and mentally challenged clients.
-to provide basic nursing care to include monitoring blood pressures, personal care and hygiene.
-to perform established training, care and programmatic activities.
-to support clients eating, bathing, dressing, grooming and other self- care skills.
-to participate with professional staff in the design and implementation activities.
-to observe the rights and personal dignity of others.

Salary:- $19.00-$20 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule:
10-12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift/ Overnight Shifts
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
