Our firm is seeking a Receptionist- Part Time - Legal Professional/ Billing Admin up to 40 hours a week (Monday through Friday) at $16.50 per hour. Bonus potential.
Under the Supervision of Attorneys Tasks entail answering phone calls, setting appointments, assisting attorneys and paralegals, legal research, drafting simple document letters, editing documents, court filings, and administrative office duties. The legal practice areas include: Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, Corporate and Contract Law, Wills and Trusts, Estate Administration, Landlord Tenant Disputes, and Real Property.
The receptionist must be a cordial person with dedication to client service to exceed clients' expectations. SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE (e.g., retail, restaurant, and phone sales/service) IS PREFERRED. Must possess a team-player attitude and must be willing to professionally take action to get the job done at all lengths.
Must be a proactive, highly motivated, self-starter problem solver with a positive attitude and can-do spirit.
Must be able to work with little to no guidance or instruction and initiate resolutions when attorneys are not in office.
Must have high organization skills and computer proficiency with Google's online office suite and Microsoft Office suite.
Must understand the business of an office and the important value a receptionist contributes to an attorney.
Must possess great enthusiasm and desire to learn.
