Our farmers' market team represents the face of Bouvardia Coffee. We are looking for individuals who enjoy building community, engaging with customers, and taking pride in supporting a small, growing business.
Role
Bouvardia Coffee is seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our farmers market sales team at the Foggy Bottom Farmers Market. This role involves preparing for market days, setting up and breaking down our booth, brewing and serving coffee samples, educating customers about our products, and delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Outgoing, friendly personality with a natural ability to engage customers
Comfortable lifting and transporting 50–60 lbs (tables, tent, Power Station/ Generator, coffee inventory, brewing equipment)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Interest in specialty coffee, local food, or small businesses is a plus
Prior sales, customer service, or food & beverage experience preferred but not required
Able to work independently while contributing to a small team environment
Responsibilities
Drive to and from the farmers market (vehicle required)
Load, transport, set up, and break down market supplies and booth
Brew coffee and serve samples to customers
Educate customers about our coffee origins, roasting style, and products
Process sales using a smartphone/tablet POS system
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming booth
Represent the Bouvardia Coffee brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
