Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residential remodeling projects, define the scope of work, and collaborate closely with project managers to gather essential details.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates by identifying labor, material, and time requirements. This involves analyzing project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Present estimates clearly and organized, incorporating numerical and descriptive information to support project planning and decision-making.
- Demonstrate initiative and flexibility by undertaking additional duties as assigned by management to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Utilize estimating software, emphasizing proficiency in Xactimate, to ensure precise and efficient cost calculations.
- Adhere strictly to established policies and procedures for consistency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Home Improvement Sales Estimator, with a robust background in Xactimate software.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, project proposals, and specifications.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with residential remodeling processes and materials is advantageous.
