Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Barber to join our team. The Barber will be responsible for providing grooming services to our clientele, including haircuts, beard trims, and other facial hair grooming services. Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality grooming services to clients, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and other facial hair grooming services.
Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and recommend appropriate styles.
Stay updated on current haircut and grooming trends to offer modern and stylish services.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently and ensure punctuality.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Upsell grooming products and services to clients as appropriate.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Barber, with a portfolio of past work preferred.
Completion of a Barbering or Cosmetology program from an accredited institution.
Excellent proficiency in a wide range of haircutting and grooming techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of current trends in men's grooming and fashion.
A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Valid Barbering or Cosmetology license issued by the relevant state regulatory authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a diverse range of hair textures and styles.
Additional certifications or training in specialized grooming techniques.
Familiarity with barbering tools and equipment, including clippers, scissors, and straight razors.
Experience with hair coloring techniques.
Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse clientele.
