Small growing AV Company seeking a motivated and enthusiastic technician/installer. Technician will be responsible for installing flat panel displays, audio and video systems, running low voltage wiring, training clients on systems at residential and commercial sites in the Northern Virginia
Qualifications -
High School Diploma or equivalent
Listen and communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and customers, ability to take instruction and work as a member of a team.
Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
Clean Driving Record, ability to drive company vehicles.
Physical demands include but not limited to standing, walking, or driving for long periods of time, work from high places, climb ladders and navigate through small tight areas; and lift up to 50-80 lbs without assistance.
Prewire and retrofit low voltage wiring (category, coaxial, speaker wire running and termination)
Familiarity with the installation and setup of audio and video equipment (Cable Boxes, AV Receivers, Media Players, IP Networked equipment etc.).
Familiarity with computers and basic networking.
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work independently.
Ideal candidate lives withing 25 miles of Middleburg VA and willing to travel to DC 20% of the time primarily Georgetown
