Description We are looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role revolves around managing and overseeing various aspects of our accounting operations, including processing purchase orders, conducting month-end close procedures, and utilizing QuickBooks and Excel for various financial tasks. This role provides an exciting opportunity for those seeking to build their skills in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities: Execute purchase order processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations Conduct month-end close procedures in a timely and accurate manner Utilize QuickBooks for managing and monitoring financial transactions Apply your accounting knowledge and skills to maintain accurate records and financial reports Use Excel for various tasks including data analysis, record keeping, and financial reporting Prepare and analyze journal entries and ensure they are recorded accurately Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations to ensure all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with company policies Oversee bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for complex financial tasks and reporting Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ related
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience with Bank Reconciliations
Knowledge of General Ledger management
Ability to create and manage Journal Entries
Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise
Knowledge of Excel Formulas
Experience with handling Purchase Orders
