Caregiver - Private Duty

Positions available for caregivers experienced working with a quadriplegic. Client is an active 40-year-old male, who has been paralyzed 15 years and is not bedbound. Care needed; transferring with electric Hoyer, bowel care, assist with shower and getting him dressed and ready for his day. Breakfast preparation upon request. Light housekeeping duties, specifically sanitizing client's area and his equipment. Shifts are mornings only. Currently there are five shifts available: Wed, Thu and Fri 5am -10am and Sat and Sun 7am - 12noon. This is not a live-in opportunity. Applicant must have proof of residency, showing an established, stable, permanent residence in Volusia or Flagler Counties. Prior to scheduling an in-person interview, applicant may be subject to a background check and to provide a copy of your valid driver license to verify your identity. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be physically fit with no back or lifting restrictions. MUST LIKE DOGS! Available shifts to be discussed at interview or give me a call to inquire.
