We look forward to meeting you.To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 Who We AreHII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Security Planner in Doral, FL to develop, implement, manage, and evaluate security assistance and cooperation programs across USSOUTHCOM, its component commands, and other mission partners.This position is in support of US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) operations, planning, engagements, and security cooperation in its assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), which currently includes Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Sea.One of six US geographic combatant commands, USSOUTHCOM deters aggression, defeats threats, rapidly responds to crises, and builds regional capacity by working with partner nations and mission partners to enhance security and defend the US homeland and national interests. USSOUTHCOM is responsible for providing contingency planning, operations, and security cooperation in its AOR to understand and counter threats from transnational criminal organizations, violent extremist organizations, and malign regional and external state actors. What You Will Do

Develops, implements, manages, and evaluates security assistance and cooperation programs across USSOUTHCOM, its component commands, and other mission partners.

Coordinates with various stakeholders, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), DoS, U.S. Embassy country teams, and the Joint Staff (JS), to deliver these services effectively.

Provides strategic partnering, integration, and engagement support, facilitating regional security cooperation activities such as exchanges and visits, and managing U.S.C. Title 10 and Title 22 programs to advance national security objectives.

Works to build partnerships with foreign nations by conducting assessments and making recommendations to enhance their capabilities.

Provides training, equipment, and technical expertise to enable partner forces to operate with U.S. military units.

Assesses the success and relevance of training and teaching efforts, analyzing applicable data, trends, and metrics to improve the efficacy of these programs.

What We Are Looking For

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

In-depth knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.

Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Requirements

CISSP, CISM, or CEH certifications
