This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Industrial Hygienist to be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Entry-level position in AECOM’s Environment Business Line within the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technical Practice Area; position will report to EHS Department in AECOM’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member on a variety of EHS projects, including but not limited to: health and safety related surveys and assessments, hazardous material surveys, environmental site assessments, multi-media site investigations, environmental audits, and environmental compliance plans and permitting.Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories.Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
