Receptionist

Description We are in search of a Receptionist for our non-profit organization based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves managing high call volumes, operating the switchboard, and transferring calls efficiently. This is a short-term contract position that requires strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in various Microsoft applications.Responsibilities Answering multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally. Providing excellent customer service to all callers. Performing data entry tasks as required. Handling email correspondence, ensuring all inquiries are addressed in a timely manner. Utilizing interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals. Using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to perform various administrative tasks. Organizing files and scheduling appointments as necessary. Operating phone switchboards, including switchboards with 1 - 10 lines. Managing multi-line switchboards and ensuring smooth switchboard operations. Reporting and escalating issues when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with a multi-line phone system and switchboard operations Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to schedule appointments and organize files Experience with email correspondence and data entry Must have a strong ability to multitask Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus but not required Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Ability to work well with a team and independently Strong problem-solving skills.
