We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a front desk ambassador.

Responsibilities:

1. Balance and verify the accuracy of all daily income and expense transactions, including room revenue, cash handling, credit card charges, adjustments, and other hotel charges.

2. Monitor and document any discrepancies or errors in financial transactions, promptly reporting them to the appropriate manager.

3. Prepare and distribute accurate and detailed financial reports, including daily revenue reports, occupancy reports, cashier summaries, and credit card summaries.

4. Complete the night audit checklist and perform all night audit procedures, such as verifying room rates, posting charges to guest accounts, balancing front office accounts, and running necessary reports.

5. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient process and providing exceptional customer service.

6. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

7. Process and maintain accurate records of guest payments, ensuring proper authorization, verification, and coding.

8. Reconcile, verify, and balance the hotel's front office cash bank and cash drawer at the end of each shift.

9. Perform end-of-month procedures, such as researching, documenting, and correcting any discrepancies, and generating monthly financial reports.

10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.

11. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by following all safety protocols and policies.

12. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to privacy and security.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role, in the hospitality industry, is an REQUIREMENT.

2. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Proficient computer skills, including experience with industry-specific property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

6. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, during night shifts.

7. Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.

8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or hospitality is preferred.
