Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential in ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, allowing our culinary team to focus on creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
Efficiently wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of clean items.
Help with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and chefs during busy service periods.
Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts to maintain a clean environment.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support overall kitchen operations.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work as part of a team within the hospitality industry while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
Basic understanding of food service operations is a plus, including knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies.
