Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, finished goods and packaging according to established standards. The QC Inspector will be working closely with the Production Manager, Plant Lead and Production Team to ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The position will also include inspecting incoming materials, inspecting finished goods, labeling products, and maintaining documentation of production processes.
Essential Functions:
·Perform routine inspection of incoming raw materials, raw material shipments, finished goods, and packaging to ensure they meet requirements
Quality standards.
·Identify any quality issues by documenting them in the appropriate areas of the QC control records.
·Maintain a clean work environment by complying with cleaning schedules and procedures.
·Follow all safety rules and regulations including OSHA 10 and all applicable state and local regulations.
·Attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings required by the company.
·Maintain daily attendance for each shift you are assigned to.
·Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Lead or Plant Manager.
