Pipe Layer
Excavate and prepare trenches for pipe installation using hand tools or heavy equipment.
Align and position pipes in trenches, ensuring proper grade, slope, and seal.
Connect pipe sections by sealing joints with appropriate materials (e.g., cement, glue, gaskets).
Install manholes, catch basins, fittings, and related structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes to follow job specifications.
Inspect, test, and verify pipe systems for leaks or defects.
Backfill and compact trenches once installation is complete.
Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
