Requirements
-Two years of relative commercial driving experience- please do not call if you don’t meet this requirement
-Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English
-Driver's License with minimum driving infractions
Job Description
Nelson’s Towing is hiring for an experienced tow truck driver. All shifts are available. Applicants should be responsible, reliable, and hardworking. Duties include towing and impounding. Additional duties relative to the job may be assigned by management.
Job Type: Full- time/ all shifts
Pay: Commensurate with experience (call to discuss)
Schedule: 10 hour shifts/ flexible schedule/ all shifts available
Responsibilities
-Load and unload vehicles from various equipment. This may include the use of winches, wheel scoops, dollies, and chains
-Report mechanical issues at the time of discovery to management
-Complete invoices and paperwork as required
-Ability to use GPS and dispatch portals
Qualifications
-Must be able to stand, crawl, and lift over 50 lbs without restrictions
-Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles properly on the tow truck
-Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles safely and efficiently
-Strong customer service skills
