Shipping facility of a plant nursery TopTropicals.com looking for a reliable, hard working individual who needs a stable, long-term job, full time position in packing/shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Pack plants and prepare boxes for shipping
- Process order paperwork
- Move, load, and unload plants and boxes
- Assist with plant maintenance and deliveries as needed
Skills and requirements:
- Must meet company standards for packing quality and speed (training provided)
- Detail-oriented and able to follow directions
- Dependable, team player, and quick learner
- Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physically strong and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat
- Quiet, focused worker (not a talker)
- Respectful and with strong work ethics
- Punctual and reliable - must be able to work 40 hours per week consistently and show up on time
- Must have own transportation to/from work
- Experience with plants is a plus
- Prior packing/shipping experience is a plus
- Drug-free
Pay: up to $20/hour depending on performance and experience.
Paid training time provided.
