Receiving and Shipping Warehouse (Fort Myers)
Local furniture manufacturer has an opening for a receiving and shipping warehouse worker.
Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday Friday.
This is a full time permanent position.
The job responsibilities include:
Unload trucks with forklifts and hand dolly
Receive raw materials
Use computer to record receiving of materials
Store materials in pallet racking
Pull materials from racks as per demand by production departments
Take inventory and update in the system
Pick orders for shipment
Package furniture
Prepare outbound shipments
Stage processed furniture for shipment
The ideal candidate will have:
1+ years of experience in receiving and shipping department and warehouse environment
Must be able to safely lift 70 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation as hours may vary on occasion
Forklift certification
