Seeking a new interior designer/window treatment specialist to join our accomplished design team. Our design center operates in conjunction with our fabric store to offer upholstery and drapery solutions for our retail clients. Our design center also offers design services to our retail clients.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while adhering to quality stands.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution of designs.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as needed.
Stat updated on industry trends, materials and technologies related to interior design.
Assist in sales for various projects, incorporating effective color theory into designs.
Qualifications:
Degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
Understanding measurements for drapery and upholstery to provide proper yardage estimates.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of contracts related to interior design projects is a plus.
Strong communication skills for client interactions and collaboration with team members.
Familiarity with Hunter Douglass is a big plus!
