Sitework Company in SW FL looking for an experienced Full-Time shop & field diesel/heavy equipment mechanic. Fleet includes dump trucks and dozers, excavators, skid steers & compactors etc. You must be a reliable self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and able to work well with other shop staff/mechanics, drivers and operators as needed to assess needed maintenance.
This includes diagnosing, repair & maintenance of heavy equipment/heavy duty diesel vehicles in diesel shop & field (as needed): oil changes, fluid changes, battery replacement, brake repair & hydraulic hose repair/replacements, etc., and ordering and tracking parts needed for repairs.
Candidate should have:
-Previous diesel mechanic experience
-Understanding of computer testing technologies
-Own tools
-Clean driving record; CDL (preferred but not required)
-Ability to prioritize repairs
-Ability to work alone and along side other mechanics
-Good communication skills.
