Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for an IT Security Analyst with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Support the PCI compliance program and assist with 3 rd party audits.
- Recommend, coordinate, and conduct risk assessment activities including, security audits, attack and penetration test, network security assessments and vulnerability scans. Develop a mitigation approach to mitigate identified risks.
- Investigates security events (e.g., unauthorized access, non-compliance with company policies, fraud, service exploitation, etc.) to determine malfunctions, breaches, and remediation steps.
- Responds to security related service issues, problems, and critical situations to support resolution and minimize downtime.
- Assist the development and establishment of formal processes to identify, quantify, and mitigate areas of vulnerability within the organization.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with IT Ops, Applications Development, and other business units in a subject matter expert/advisory role to ensure security is designed in and considered throughout the system and product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT groups to define and implement secure application and network architectures including those in DevOps.
- Minimum of 2+ years practical experience implementing information security solutions and infrastructure required.
- Experience implementing and supporting IT security.
- Solid understanding of security concepts, principles and practices.
- Professional certification COMP-TIA Network+ , Security+, SANS GIAC, CISSP, CRISC, CISA (CISSP, SANS/GIAC) a plus.
- Experience using Elastic Stack (ELK).
- Strong understanding of cyber-attack methods and tools.
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Must have extensive, detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with Internet protocols, IPS, firewalls, packet capture and analysis, SSH, TLS/SSL, web servers, application servers, database security, patch management, vulnerability assessment tools.
- Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Microsoft and Linux operating systems. Scripting in these environments is plus.
- Experience with endpoint security software and encryption products.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructures, SaaS/Cloud applications
