Medical Assistant (Bilingual)

The Medical Assistant will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dermatology experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.Room patients and prepare them for examinationObtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaintsAssist physicians and providers with examinations and proceduresPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and suppliesPerform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training)Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic proceduresProvide patient education and relay provider instructionsProcess prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requestsSupport scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentationMaintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam roomsDeliver exceptional customer service to patients and team members
