Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role revolves around the management of accounting functions and the supervision of staff accountants and processors. The Accounting Manager will work in the industry of Accounting, using Oracle Fusion and other relevant accounting software to carry out their tasks. This job provides a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the work of accounting personnel to ensure the efficient and timely processing of accounting information. Utilize Oracle Fusion for various accounting functions, with a focus on understanding the operations side of the module. Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications and maintaining precise customer credit records. Conduct cash reconciliations to confirm that cash is posted in the appropriate entities. Exhibit a keen eye for detail in all accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards. Manage full cycle accounting tasks including billing functions, cash management, and cash forecasting. Implement and supervise cash management strategies to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Take appropriate action in monitoring customer accounts based on the analysis of account activities. Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Assist in catching up with backlogs in cash reconciliations and other accounting tasks. Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in Accounting Management. Proficiency in handling all Accounting Functions. Experience with Billing Functions is essential. Knowledge and expertise in Oracle Fusion. Demonstrated skill in Cash Forecasting and Cash Management. Familiarity with Full Cycle Accounting processes. Proven experience in Cash Reconciliations. The ability to manage and lead accounting operations and teams effectively. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to accounting practices.
