Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the industry. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be integral in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, account reconciliation and data entry. Responsibilities: Conducting full-cycle accounts payable transactions daily to guarantee timely and accurate payment processing Performing three-way matching of purchase order, receipt, and invoice to ensure accurate payment of vendor obligations Investigating and resolving billing and matching discrepancies Ensuring that the appropriate discounts are applied Verifying that all transactions are in compliance with accounting policies and procedures Providing responses to all vendor inquiries and reconciling vendor statements Maintaining all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files Assisting with monthly closings Adhering to and understanding internal controls Performing administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Candidate must possess at least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role Proficiency in account reconciliation is required Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge of check runs is a necessity Must have experience in coding invoices Proficient in data entry Experience in invoice processing is required Must be skilled in using Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle is a plus Familiarity with QuickBooks is desirable Knowledge of SAP is an advantage Experience with 3-way matching is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
