The GCP Engineer would be working for multiple end-user clients using the full suite if GCP. This would include but not limited to Security, Computer Services, Big Data, Cloud AI, Networking, and Storage Services. The GCP Engineer’s biggest priority is to tighten up the Security services. Design, develop, and deploy complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions using GCP services across the full spectrum, including:
Compute Services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions
Networking: Cloud VPN, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect
Storage Services: Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Filestore
Big Data: BigQuery, Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Dataflow
Security and Identity Management: Cloud IAM, Cloud Identity, Cloud Key Management Service
Management Tools: Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Stackdriver Error Reporting
Cloud AI: Build and deploy machine learning models using tools like Vertex AI and AutoML
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud deployments to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and best practices.
