Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Safety Specialist to join the team in Jacksonville, FL .Position Responsibilities:Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes

Provide support to front line workers and managers within an aviation maintenance environment

Develops and provides training and instructions

Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

Plans and conducts health and safety audits

Collaborate with other Environment, Health and Safety personnel within a team environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

3+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher

Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

Typical Education & Experience:Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
