Job Title: Land Surveying TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Land Surveying Technician, you will work in the field alongside a Survey Crew Chief on boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout. The majority of fieldwork will take place in solid waste landfills and power plant fly ash impoundments. You will load and unload equipment, prepare the truck for the day, and assist/learn from the crew chief on various tasks associated with field surveying. You will work directly under a professionally licensed land surveyor who reviews all recorded data and assigns projects. Your role will include maintaining instruments, logging field data, operating various surveying instruments, marking survey stakes, recovering survey control documentation, and clearing brush from the line of survey.Hard Skills

Work EnvironmentWorking outside Monday - Friday with some weekends. Hours are from 7 AM - 5 PM with plenty of opportunities to earn overtime.
