National Training Inc. is a long-standing CDL and Heavy Equipment training school serving students from across the country. We’re looking for a driven, organized Admissions Representative who can help future students take the next step toward a career in trucking and heavy equipment.
Position Overview
The Admissions Representative is the primary point of contact for prospective students—by phone, text, email, and in person. Your job is to:
· Respond quickly to new inquiries
· Explain our CDL and Heavy Equipment programs clearly
· Schedule campus tours and phone appointments
· Guide qualified applicants through the enrollment process
This role is part customer service, part sales, and part student advising.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails from prospective students in a timely, professional manner.
· Explain program options (CDL Class A, Class B, Refresher, Heavy Equipment, etc.), start dates, schedules, housing options, and basic financing/payment options.
· Qualify leads based on interest, eligibility, and ability to meet enrollment requirements.
· Schedule and confirm tours, phone appointments, and Zoom/online info sessions.
· Conduct in-person campus tours and present our programs in a confident, professional way.
· Guide students through enrollment, including application paperwork, ID and license requirements, and next steps.
· Use our CRM/lead management system (Podio or similar) to log all calls, notes, and follow-ups accurately.
· Meet and exceed weekly/monthly goals for calls, appointments, tours, and enrollments.
· Work closely with Training, Finance, and Housing/Inn staff to ensure a smooth student start.
· Represent National Training professionally at all times—on the phone, online, and in person.
Qualifications
· Prior experience in admissions, inside sales, call center, or customer service, and working with veterans, preferred.
· Strong, confident phone presence and clear verbal communication.
· Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, email, and texting tools.
· Strong follow-up and time-management skills; able to handle multiple leads and tasks at once.
· Professional, direct, and honest communication style with prospects and coworkers.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; some college a plus.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
· Willing to work some evenings or Saturdays during peak times, as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
· Full-time position (typically Monday–Friday; schedule to be confirmed).
