Job Description: Apex Systems, the nation's 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for a GIS Specialist to work for one of our local clients here in Miami, FL

Applicants must have 2 years of GIS EXPERIENCE and have technical experience with GIS,GIS Database, and Rest TECHNOLOGIES. Position Details:

Position: GIS Specialist

Location:100% Remote

Duration: 1 year CTH

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Up front planning
  • Setting up systems
  • Helping understand what software to buy
  • Helping get connections to databases physically
  • Working through challenges
  • Preliminary layouts
  • Data for estimating team
Required Skills:
  • GIS & experience with GIS databases (Esri products that flow under Arc maps)
  • REST endpoint
  • Must be able to build new GIS data sets
  • Degree in: Geography, Engineering, GIS, Mapping or related
Project details:
  • Member of the Estimating team that is rapidly growing.
